About me...
I suppose some might say I'm a fun, conscientious kinda guy, a guy who likes to look on the brighter side of life and to make the most of it. I've often been told that I'm easy to get on with and that people find me easy going and friendly. I like people and people seem to like me, its a mutual understanding.
As as designer, I love to be creative and break the mold, source new ideas and try to go that extra mile to something different each time, even if sometimes it is only slightly. For me there is nothing worse then trying to re-use the same template or interface over and over again, I like to be diverse and offer alternative options to design concepts, especially when working on a limited brief.
As a developer, I think logically and efficiently with my work. I'm a huge fan of the DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself) method and will often go that extra mile to deliver a piece of code or functionality that can not only be re-used with as little dependencies as possible but also deliver it to standard that is as efficient as possible to my knowledge ad understanding. Working in the web industry is something that I take a lot a pride in and have a lot of passion for, I would never commit myself to anything that I felt would have a detrimental effect on myself or my profession and I personally find that's a good attitude to have.
More recently, although it's always been apparent when I look back through my work, that I have something of a natural talent for UX and my approach has always been to design and develop with the end user in mind and to really grasp what the purpose of the product is rather just making it look good and on-point to the client's own brand or design preferences.

With that out the way with....
I'm sure you've read enough about me with my professional hat on now, so let's lighten the mood with some (un)fascinating facts about me as a person:
I'm sure you've read enough about me with my professional hat on now, so let's lighten the mood with some (un)fascinating facts about me as a person:
- I was born in Luton, Beds where I lived until the age of nine.
- I'm of an Irish & Hungarian decent but speak very little of either language.
- The day I was born, Paul Young's 'Wherever I Lay My Hat' was number one in the UK charts.
- I was named after the 1980's American tv heart-throb Scott Baio, who was best known for playing the role of Chachi Arcola in Happy Days.
- I'm a bit of a cardio and fitness freak. I like to run a bit and in 2012 I completed the London Marathon.
- I'm a former orange belt kick boxer.
- I used to be a chef, although not of any culinary excellence but I spent three and a half years as a chef in my post-college years, including some time with the award winning Cambridge University Press restaurant team.
- I love music and as a teenager I was a keen drummer. I was in a number of bands including a Green Day cover band for a while. I am also fluent on the guitar and bass too and can use my understanding of music to transform onto other instruments without too much difficulty too. I have one of those 'musical ears' too that allows me to pick up the basic notes and rhythm of a song, any song just by listening to it - something that causes much amazement to many of my friends and family.
- Despite a huge absence in my teenage years, I've more recently rekindled my love for football. I support my home team, the once mighty Luton Town F.C.
- I play football quite often too, I'm not much cop at it but I do play for a local 6-a-side league team - which last season I took it upon myself to source sponsorship for a new kit for the coming season. I'm proud to say that we now have our kit sponsored by Spotify.
